Scioto County Engineer

Darren is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is both a registered professional engineer and a registered professional surveyor. He worked for the Scioto County Engineer’s office from 1997-2000 as a project engineer and became County Engineer in January 2017. Darren’s professional background includes experience as a construction manager, city engineer, county sanitary engineer, surveyor, consulting firm manager, and engineering instructor. During his career, Darren has successfully acquired over $30 million in project grant and funding assistance and has designed and managed multi-million dollar projects with a career project total that exceeds $200 million.

Darren is a 1990 Minford High School graduate. He and his wife, Courtney have three children (Jacob, Kelsey, and Eli).
